New design

I am reviewing the Phenix Website, I am working more with Photoshop and use what I do together with Flash CS3 and see if I can improve the design.
I am also studying CSS so that I don't focus only on the look of the websites I make, but also on the structure, to make my works a little bit more professional. Or at least I try... :-)

I know I haven't been by in a while, but things are busy and stuff :)

anyway... I like the overall look of the page, but you need to make the text larger for your this particular web page's title. The font you have chosen is a nice font but works best when larger. I can see development in your graphic design abilities. Keep going!

Thank you srh,
I have almost done with the whole website and the first thing I did was to make the font larger. I am going to publish the new look as soon as I've done writing you :-P
Thank you for your comment!

Hi Alex, This is a great re-launch! I like the colors. I LOVE black and red!

There are some very tiny things I thought of, but you can completely ignore them because they are not vital to the functionality.

1) The fuzzy glow around "NEWS" "WELCOME" etc is a bit strong, maybe either tighten it up (a little closer to the letters, not spread as much) or keep its spread and make the glow a bit more transparent (not too much more).

2) The mirrored image of Phenix Websites (the words underneath) could maybe be lightened up a bit as well so they look like a reflection and don't compete with the logo itself? Maybe?

Or, or, or, maybe make the Phenix Website logo have a little more white in it or something to make it stand out more? It's the company's title, it's important, and it looks REALLY COOL, maybe it needs to pop out or stand out more so it catches the eye when the person sees the site?

3) ONE more thing - the site that's up now's load time is a bit long. You may have changed this with the new site. It takes me (on my office server, which is pretty quick most of the time) about 30 seconds for the homepage to load. This is totally out of my scope of knowledge, so I cannot even tell you if it's just my computer's fault or something... You know how impatient people (and clients) are these days, if the new site loads faster, AWESOME!

This page looks clean - all the information is right there, you don't have to search around for links/tabs. VERY nice! I'm not a web designer (only wish I was, but Dreamweaver and Flash and code made me pull entire chunks of hair out of my head and I gave it up until I can afford to take a class someday!), so take any thoughts I have with a very tiny grain of salt!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll keep peeking at the URL to see when it launches!

Thank you leslie. I think you are right. Josh was telling me that I should change the logo(phenix head).
No problem about the loading... I changed it and the one I have in the new version is much faster.

Time goes quickly and with the plan for the anniversary I won't be able to do much this weekend.
