I made this website for my husband.
It took me almost a month worth of work especially to find the right design and the features.

Not bad.. I spent other 5 hours to finish it so a total of 30h for this website.

The new Phenix Websites

I am working on the new Phenix and I'll probably finish during this week. I know I did another one few months ago but this one looks better to me.
Here is a pic I took while working...
Hopefully is going to be a very nice one.
I am also working with more tools now...I started using Flash in combination with Css or Html or Photoshop.
I am getting more and more excited about my job and every website I publish makes me wonder how it will be the next. Nice feeling!

Africa Website

Finally after months I am happy to post this website.
It's going to be posted between today and tomorrow so I'll post the link pretty soon but I wanted so much to post some screenshots of it.
The whole website and the graphic design has been made using Flash.
The background is a tipical cloth in Congo and Uganda, I love it because I really wanted the website to have the colors of that side of Africa.
I had so much fun drawing the frame...I needed to do reasearches and it took several hours to put together the different designs and mix them so to create something unique.
I hope to have been able to reach that target. :-)

Unfortunately I couldn't do anything from the time of my last post, because my computer broke so everything kind of stopped.

I have two new websites on project + the new Phenix and an old one I did almost a year ago for a charity foundation for Congo and Uganda.

Hopefully I'll be able to publish it in no time if my computer decides to work of course.

More time playing with Photoshop, though. I have a pretty high request of logos and buttons design...we'll see what I can do. Here is one of the logos I am working on:

New design

I am reviewing the Phenix Website, I am working more with Photoshop and use what I do together with Flash CS3 and see if I can improve the design.
I am also studying CSS so that I don't focus only on the look of the websites I make, but also on the structure, to make my works a little bit more professional. Or at least I try... :-)

My reading

This is the book I am reading. I bought it years ago (of course the Italian version), when my interest for the web design was just a dream before the college. You know.. one of those book you buy and say "this is just the beginning!".Well after 4 years and my degree, finally I got to read it. It really focus on what is behind the web design, which is the message and how let the user understand the meaning of your work. I really love the book.Thank you Nico Macdonald!

New feature on Phenix Websites

One of the things I like most in my job is to give to my website an efficient look and a series of features so that my clients can be fully satisfied.
Well, this is now reality, since with the new Online Project page every customer will have a personal account and password to access to his own project area, and see what I did, if there is something to change, send a comment,etc.
Soon there will be also the opportunity to communicate directly with me, using a sort of guestbook or comment area which will make everything faster, without being worried about mail problems.

I am also working on the website I posted the pictures last week.

Not so much time this week

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time this week to finish the website, I needed to do some researches and study a little bit more about other possible projects I may work in the next few weeks.

I just made the homepage, now the hard work has to come and I have to develop the rest of the website.

I like to work hard, and today I was really in the mood to finish one of the three websites I was working on. I decided to finish the one of Kill Bill, just to combine fun and work.


I really loved working on this website and I found a way to create a style that respects the design and the colors of the movie.

The Phoenix desk first post

This is my first post on the Blog. Wow!
This is my virtual desk, the Phoenix desk, in which I am going to put together all my ideas and projects.
I am trying to create my own style in making websites in Flash, I am taking inspiration from everything, especially I love the futuristic design.
We'll see if this is the kind of design I want to work with.
I made a series of websites and I am working on 3 different kinds right now.
